Editorial & Reviewer Support

ManuscriptRoute editorial decision, reviewer response, revision and resubmission support
Structured support continues after journal submission.

MOTOR 4 — POST-SUBMISSION SUPPORT

Submission is not the end of the publishing route

Editorial checks, reviewer reports, revision requests, rejection
decisions and resubmission requirements can create more work than
the initial submission. ManuscriptRoute keeps those stages connected
to the original manuscript record.

SUPPORTED JOURNAL EVENTS

One workflow for the complete editorial process

01

Technical checks

Missing files, title-page corrections, declaration requests,
formatting issues and metadata inconsistencies are reviewed
and routed to the correct action.

02

Editorial questions

Requests from editors are analysed against the manuscript,
submission package and author-controlled information.

03

Reviewer reports

Reviewer comments are classified, prioritised and connected
with the relevant manuscript sections.

04

Major revisions

Complex revision requirements are divided into scientific,
structural, methodological, linguistic and administrative tasks.

05

Minor revisions

Smaller corrections are completed with consistency checks
across the manuscript, cover letter and response document.

06

Rejection and resubmission

The decision is analysed and the manuscript is routed back
to preparation, journal matching or submission packaging.

POINT-BY-POINT RESPONSE

Every reviewer comment receives a traceable status

Reviewer comments are not answered with generic language.
Each comment is connected with an action, manuscript location
and evidence-based response.

Accepted

The requested change is scientifically appropriate and is
incorporated into the manuscript.
Partially accepted

A justified revision is made while preserving necessary
scientific or methodological boundaries.
Clarified

Existing manuscript information is explained more clearly
without creating new unsupported findings.
Author input required

The comment requires original data, author knowledge,
institutional information or a personal declaration.
Evidence required

The requested statement cannot be added until reliable
evidence or a verifiable reference is available.
Respectfully declined

A reasoned response is prepared when the requested change
would be inaccurate, unsupported or methodologically inappropriate.

HOW IT WORKS

Four controlled steps

1

Upload the complete decision

The full editorial email, reviewer reports, attachments and
deadline information are uploaded to the Author Portal.

2

Classify every requirement

Each request is linked with the manuscript section, required
evidence and responsible workflow stage.

3

Prepare revisions and responses

Revised files and the point-by-point response are created
without inventing data, explanations or approvals.

4

Approve and resubmit

The author reviews personal declarations and author-controlled
changes before the revised package is returned to the journal.

ACADEMIC BOUNDARIES

Revision does not permit fabrication

Reviewer requests cannot be satisfied by inventing research
activity that never occurred. Missing information remains visible
until supplied by the author or supported by genuine evidence.

  • No invented experiments, participants or sample sizes
  • No fabricated statistical analyses or research findings
  • No false ethics approval, exemption or institutional decision
  • No invented reference, DOI or bibliographic record
  • No false claim that a requested analysis was performed
  • No journal acceptance or publication guarantee

A rejection can begin a new route

When resubmission is appropriate, the manuscript can be transferred
to Motor 1 for renewed preparation, Motor 2 for a new five-journal
match, Motor 3 for a new submission package and Motor 3B for the next
official portal submission.

Important:
The $695 service covers one defined editorial or reviewer-response cycle.
New experiments, laboratory work, data collection, publisher charges,
APCs, taxes and third-party institutional fees are not included.
